We acknowledge contractors' competitive sensitivity and commit to treating your data with the highest level of security and confidentiality.
2. Data collection and use
We collect: account information, project data, claims and compliance records, workforce information, equipment and fleet data, documents uploaded, and usage data.
We use data to: provide and improve services, generate reports, send notifications, provide customer support, comply with law, and produce aggregated anonymized insights.
3. We do not sell your data
We never sell, rent, or provide your data for competitive use. We will not use your data to train AI models for competitors or identify market opportunities from your pipeline.
4. Data security — "Blind by design"
Clerxi employees have zero access to customer data. This isn't a policy — it's architecture. No admin back doors, no support logins, no direct database queries. All queries are automatically scoped by organization.
Technical safeguards include: TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, logical tenant isolation at the database level, role-based access with least privilege, MFA support, intrusion detection, and geo-redundant encrypted backups.
5. Data retention and deletion
For active accounts, data is retained as long as the account is active. Upon cancellation: you can export data anytime, we retain for 30 days (for reactivation), delete from production after 30 days, and purge backups within 90 days. Written confirmation available on request.

7. Incident response
We will notify you within 72 hours of any confirmed breach. Our notification includes: nature of the incident, data affected, remediation steps, and contact information. Full cooperation with investigation. Post-incident report with root cause and preventive measures provided.
