Account Deletion

Last updated · May 2026

Clerxi LLC operates the Clerxi web platform and the Clerxi mobile app (com.clerxi.mobile on Google Play, com.clerxi.app on the Apple App Store). This page explains how to request that your Clerxi account and associated personal data be deleted.

Clerxi is a workforce tool for construction companies. Your account was created by the company that subscribed you to the platform (your “Organization”), so account management normally goes through them. Both paths below are valid.

1. Contact your Organization administrator

Because your Organization manages your access, the fastest way to have your account removed is to ask your Organization administrator (typically your office manager, HR contact, or IT lead) to remove you from Clerxi. They can deactivate your login immediately from inside the Clerxi platform.

2. If you can’t reach your administrator

If you no longer work with the Organization, can’t reach anyone there, or your Organization has stopped using Clerxi, contact us directly:

  • Email: privacy@clerxi.com
  • Subject: Account deletion request
  • Include: the email address on your Clerxi account, and the name of the Organization that invited you (if you remember it).

Send the request from the email address on your account so we can verify the request belongs to you. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your user profile (name, email, phone, profile photo)
  • Your password hash and two-factor authentication secret
  • Your mobile push-notification token and active session tokens
  • Your personal preferences (notification settings, saved views)

What is kept, and why

Some records may be retained after your account is deleted:

  • Project records you authored (RFIs, daily reports, submittals, time entries, photos, messages) belong to your Organization, not to you personally. Your name on those records is replaced with a generic label such as “Former user”, but the underlying records remain with the Organization unless they choose to delete them.
  • Records required by law — such as payroll, tax, and certified-payroll filings — are retained for the period required by federal, state, or local law (typically 3–7 years).
  • Anti-fraud and security logs — basic authentication logs and security-event records are retained for up to 12 months to detect and investigate abuse.

Retention period after deletion

Personal data described under “What gets deleted” is removed within 30 days of a verified request. Backups containing your data are overwritten on our standard backup rotation, typically within 90 days.
